William Bowen, MD

Orthopedic Surgeon

William Bowen, M.D. is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with over 30 years of experience in his field. A native of Ukiah, he specializes in hip and knee replacement and general orthopedic and trauma care. He attended Pacific Union College and Loma Linda University. He completed his internship and residency at San Bernardino County Hospital, and his post-graduate training at Loma Linda University.

Dr. Bowen has built a reputation of being innovative and providing personalized and compassionate care to his patients from Northern California and beyond.

Jeremiah Dawson, MD

Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Dawson is a native of Willits. He earned his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA. After medical school Dr. Dawson headed to the mid-west to attend the University of Iowa Orthopedics program.

Upon completing his training he returned to his hometown to raise his family. Dr. Dawson specializes in total joint replacement of the hip, knee, and shoulder and treats many other orthopedic conditions.

Paul M. Charpentier, MD

Orthopedic Surgeon

Paul M. Charpentier, MD specializes in minimally invasive hip and knee replacement and non-operative treatment of osteoarthritis. He is highly respected by his peers and is a welcome addition to the renowned orthopedics team at Adventist Health Howard Memorial. His expertise includes partial and total knee replacement, hip replacement and complex revision of the hip and knee. He performs arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder, as well as general orthopedic needs of his patients.

Dr. Charpentier is from Ukiah and has a wife and three small children. He enjoys wood working, bee keeping, fly fishing and being outdoors.

Annie is an experienced nurse who is passionate about making sure patients get the best experience possible and helping you live the life you love. From the day you make the decision to have surgery to the day you head home, she is here to ensure that every aspect of your care is what you expect. Annie will guide you through your healing journey, and will work closely with all members of our team including surgeons, case managers, nursing and rehabilitation staff.
